I am one paper away from becoming a super villain. Yeah, that's sort of tongue and cheek, but I really am quite stressed out.
Tomorrow, I have to read 700 lines of Samson Agonistes (Milton honey, it's been lovely, but we need a break. Shakes is getting jealous. For reals), do all of my German assignments because I have a quiz Tuesday (I LOATHE that class. That makes me sad), write a small discussion paper on the Milton (one to two pages on Sampson and Manoa), AND re-read book four of Paradise Lost because we're doing that in my major British Writers class! And that's just TOMORROW.
Before the school year FINALLY comes to an end on May 12th (I love school, but my work load is very, very, VERY tiring. Working five days a week and being a full time student is no walk in the park, much as I enjoy it!), I have several papers to write. I have an 8-10 pager on a NARROW issue in PL (need: three scholarly sources that exist somewhere else besides online. Ok.). I am thinking about writing about free will, but we'll see. I am being given a take home final. This will probably be an essay. It's for History of the English Language, so hopefully I will continue to channel Eliza Doolittle and totally rock that class! I have a take home essay as part of my final for Crowley's class (the topic is neat, but all that thinking might make my head blow up). I have a five page paper to do on parallels between the works of Van Gogh and Dickens (I will be working off of the powerpoint I already made for it earlier in the semester, thank God).
On top of all that, I have to really develop my idea for my thesis! I've been doing a lot of thinking, and I REALLY want to focus on how language reflects a state of being natural/unnatural in Shakespeare's plays, but I need to come up with an ARGUMENT. That's the hard part. I'll be meeting with Crowley though, so maybe he will give my brain a kick in the ass and get it jump started. It might need it. Think: Zaphod's helmet that runs on lemons. I need one of those!
It's going to be a LONG three weeks. Eep!
